• ESYSKnits Sweater System – Custom Design a Perfect Fit for any Body Shape or Silhouette 
  
  • Pick a yarn you love and style a garment to fit any body, any shape, using simple “fill in the blank” forms that include all the knitting "mystery math" calculations.  All you need is a great yarn, needles and a tape measure.  This is any easy, basic “design your own sweater” workshop for the Intermediate or Advanced knitter.  Instruction book with  reusable forms included.

• Knitting without a Knet - Free Form Knitting
  
  • Learn four easy techniques.  Great way to use your stash and “pricey” novelties while augmenting from the newest inventory yarns.  Imaginative ways to mix and match yarns includes methods for complimenting and combining colors.  Easy construction techniques for free form pieces.

• Color your world –Intarsia and Stranded 2-color
  
  • Use traditional color techniques to add impact and style to modern trends. Easy tips for handling multiple strands, reading color charts.

One Day - 6 hour Sessions

• Hand made not Home made
  • Inside-out; full fashioning, fit and finishing. Add a professional finish to your project.  Learn how to plan ahead so that finishing a garment is easy. Techniques for shaping, detail placement, seaming, and other tips often not provided in pattern instructions.
    

• Lace Knitting
  
  • Try lace weight yarn, learn left/right slanted decreases, a flexible "lace" bind off and how to block lace.  Make a scarf or mantilla.  Includes chart reading and symbols.

• Bobbles, Cables and Twists 
  • Make an Aran Style Hat.  Include chart reading and symbols, cables, twisted stitches, bobbles as well as the classic channel island cast on.

• Classic Socks from the top with short row heels/toes
  • Master circular knitting with double pointed needles. Learn flexible kitchener rib cast on , reinforced heels, turning the toe with short rows and seaming live stitches with kitchener stitch. 
    

• Socks from the Toe Up
  • Circular knitting with double pointed needles. Learn provisional cast on for "no ridge" toe seam and "flexible" kitchener rib bind off for the top ribbing.  Includes short row heel for snug fit. With toe up socks you can always be sure you have enough yarn. 
    

• Planning Ahead
  • Make finishing simple yet flawless. This class covers picking up stitches for bands, seaming, 3 needle bind off and other finishing techniques.

• Pattern Alterations
  • Bring your pattern to class and learn simple alterations to correct fit.

• Embellishment techniques
  • Add some fun to your knitting with some simple crochet. Ideas and techniques for edges, buttons, cords, appliques, texture and color.
    

• Beginning Circular knitting
• Master circular and double pointed needles.  Learn kitchener rib cast on, directional decreases and simple color changes while making a striped hat.

• Double Knitting
  
  • Master reversible knitting while making a warm headband perfect for outdoor winter activities.

• Domino Knitting
  • Absolutely the best "take along" knitting. Make a pillow cover by knitting small  diagonal garter stitch squares that are joined together as you go.
